Kapazi was founded in 1978 by Mr. Perez, with the goal of offering innovative solutions in the waterproofing and cleaning market for fabrics, rugs, and upholstery. Soon after, the resale of doormats was added to the company’s portfolio, which created the need for customization. A pioneer at the time, Kapazi began painting rugs using an overhead projector to reproduce images—an innovative technique for that moment.

In the beginning, sales were done door to door, and all customizations were carried out manually. As demand grew, the company began importing doormats on a large scale. Years later, it established a national manufacturing facility, initially headquartered in Mairiporã/SP and later relocated to Almirante Tamandaré/PR, in the metropolitan region of Curitiba.

Today, Kapazi has two locations: one in Almirante Tamandaré and another in Maceió, which improves our logistics and brings us even closer to our customers, ensuring efficiency and quality in the delivery of our products.
