VASAP DESIGN

We are Vasap Design

Brazilian company transforms garbage into an object of desire.

Originally from Brazil - Goiás, a Vasap Design, whose purpose is to transform garbage into an object of desire, originated from a unique recipe in the world in which it reuses polyethylene (PE) - one of the most important plastics today - and transforms it into vases signed by great names in the Brazilian design. The material found in bottle caps, beer crates, packaging and discarded toys are collected through partnerships with garbage collectors and cooperatives, encouraging the circular economy.

Among the Brazilian designers, who have already signed product lines for Vasap Design, are Marcelo Rosenbaum in partnership with Fetiche Design, Alex Hanazaki, Leo Romano, Mauricio Arruda, Zanini di Zanine and André Lenza, whose line called Karajá was three awarded internationally in 2021, with the Paris Design Awards, Latin American Design and Loop Design Awards.

With this recipe since its inception in 2018, Vasap Design has already removed more than 1,800 tons of garbage from nature to transform them into decorative vases. The products are sold throughout Brazil, in resale stores, and its main partners are the new furniture company called Tok Stok and Leroy Merlin, in addition to the main marketplaces in the market. This year, the company opened the brand's first concept store in Holambra, in the Campinas region, in the interior of São Paulo. “With optimism, the gardening and landscaping market has expanded in recent years and with the economic recovery the trend is to grow even more”, adds Roriz.

Located in Aparecida de Goiânia - Goiás, the Vasap Design factory has 40,000 m², state-of-the-art technology and Italian machinery.
