STUDIO ANNA MACHADO

the studio

Materializing the unconscious to touch the impalpable is the objective of Studio Anna Machado.

Shapes are like mirrors, they reflect outside what we feel inside. Our feelings are not always balanced, not always proportional; but still beautiful and legitimate feelings in their asymmetries.

Being surrounded by objects that arouse sensations helps us to feel belonging and welcomed in our environment. Our creations propose this welcome from a more intimate perspective. Fruit of the impressions that the artist Anna Beatriz Machado has on the world, the meeting between design, art and technological experimentation is present in the pieces.

the designer

Anna Beatriz Machado is the designer and artist behind Studio Anna Machado. A designer by training and an artist in experimentation, she has been working creating with 3D printing since 2017.

Some of her creations have already won the Brasil Design Award and were among the finalists for the Museu da Casa Brasileira Award. In 2021, her vases participated in two exhibitions at Milan Design Week. Her latest collection was designed especially for the Clami stores in São Paulo.

the products

Extremely light and resistant pieces. Produced in the 3D printer with a material called PLA, a polymer made from the fermentation of corn starch, that is, from a renewable source.

Its shapes are thought to take the best that 3D printing can give: organic shapes and asymmetries.

The daily use of the products is uncomplicated due to their easy cleaning and maintenance. All pots can be used with water, stone or soil, as they are waterproof. The greatest care with the pieces is not to leave them exposed to the sun or high temperatures with the risk of deformation.
