Glass melting

Glass melting is the joining of pieces
of glass at high temperature, usually
in an oven. This is usually done 
between approximately 700°C and 820°C
and can vary from melting by adhering 
to lower temperatures, in which 
separate pieces of glass they come 
together, but still retain their 
individual forms, until total 
fusion into the highest ones, 
in which separate pieces merge 
smoothly into each other.
